Institutional Training Programs
The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) funds Institutional Research Training Grants through the National Research Service Award (NRSA) program, created to help ensure that highly trained scientists will be available to meet the nation's alcohol research needs.
Opportunities exist for both basic and clinical research in a variety of disciplines, including social, behavioral, biomedical, and biological sciences. The NIAAA has funded more than 100 pre- and postdoctoral trainees annually, many of whom are now active investigators in the alcohol research field.
Interested individuals or sponsors should contact the Program Director for more information about specific opportunities at the addresses listed below.
